Before the League of Legends World Championship Finals, fans typically gather in the host city to attend the Riot Games’ Fan Fest. In 2025, the event arrives in Chengdu as the LoL Carnival, turning the week before the Finals into a live showcase of games, community and competition.
The Carnival will take place in Chengdu from November 4th to 9th, running daily across Chunxi Road’s Yinshi Plaza, Yingjia Plaza and IFS.
The multi-day event will feature eight interactive zones and twelve partner activations leading up to the 2025 Worlds Finals, held at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium on November 9th..
Organised by Riot Games’ local and global teams, the Carnival will include appearances from more than 100 guests, including professional players and streamers.
Riot Games has described the event as a place “where esports passion, local street flavours, and Chengdu’s creative spirit collide,” transforming the city centre into a gathering point for fans.
Among the week’s attractions, the Legends Avenue will host international and LPL professionals, while the “We Are the League” Interactive Zone will allow fans to take part in themed challenges. Other experiences include the TFT Teahouse and Choncc’s Lucky Park, both offering opportunities for attendees to engage in community-focused activities for TFT.
Fans can also collect a League Identity Card, check in at various interactive machines, and redeem commemorative tickets after completing a four-location stamp collection.
