Team Liquid Brazil has won the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 by defeating Shopify Rebellion Gold 3-2 in today’s Grand Final.

With this result, Liquid has denied Shopify’s third consecutive championship title after losing to the North American organisation in the Grand Final two years ago.

Coming from the lower bracket, Shopify headed into the Grand Final with a massive map veto disadvantage.

For Liquid’s first map pick, the team chose Haven, where Shopify had looked shaky throughout the championship. Following a difficult 5-7 half, though, the North American squad found stability on the back of a bonus round conversion.

While all members from Shopify stepped up to secure a 13-11 redemption on Haven, Sarah ‘sarah’ Simpson was the highest-rated player. On Sova, she achieved a kill-death ratio (KDA) of 18/15/10 and 145 average damage per round (ADR).

Pearl took a similar trajectory to map one. A back-and-forth first half (6-6) concluded with a resilient defence. This time, it was Team Liquid that fought back from a slight deficit to steal its opponent’s map pick 13-11.

Liquid’s Letícia ‘joojina’ Paiva had an incredible performance during map two. The Astra player delivered 23 frags as well as back-to-back clutch plays in the final two rounds.

Map three took Shopify to its perma-map ban, Bind. To Liquid’s surprise, the North American squad pulled off a dominant 9-3 defence, firmly locking down both gun sites.

In the second half, however, Shopify was slowed down heavily by Liquid’s Veto and Julia ‘Jelly’ Iris on the Operator. The duelist player scored a KDA of 19/17/4 to take her team to series point (13-10).

Despite the daunting match score, Shopify showed confident attack executes with its signature Sage/Chamber team composition on Sunset (8-4).

Even a slight second-half recovery from Liquid couldn’t stop Shopify’s fearless fight for survival in the Grand Final. Nicole ‘Noia’ Tierce on Chamber and Karnthida ‘dodonut’ Chaisrakeo on Neon turned Sunset into their playground, securing a 13-6 victory for their team.

The final showdown took place on Split, the same map where Shopify stole Liquid’s championship trophy two years ago.

But the Brazilian team was determined not to let another title slip through their fingers. While Shopify often lacked patience and decisiveness in its plays, Liquid remained calm and clean when necessary.

After a 7-5 half and two pistol round wins, Liquid overcame the final hurdle on the path towards its first Game Changers Championship trophy (13-8).

The team’s in-game leader (IGL), Natália ‘daiki’ Vilela, received the match MVP award for her outstanding mechanical performance and leadership throughout the tournament. Since 2022, daiki has been part of Liquid’s Game Changers lineup, guiding various roster iterations towards regional and now international heights.
