Wiktor ‘TaZ’ Wojtas has joined BC.Game as coach, returning to the role for the first time since leaving G2 in June.

The signing completes the core team and coach combo for BC.Game, who unveiled the signing of the SAW core on Saturday.

Can TaZ manage emotional roster?

As G2’s coach, TaZ won three Tier 1 titles at IEM Dallas 2024, BLAST Fall Final 2024, and BLAST World Final 2024.

Despite that success, fans and analysts were at times critical of the Pole’s role in that success, questioning his tactical impact and reducing his contribution to being a mere ‘cheerleader.’

That criticism was somewhat corroborated by G2 CEO, Alban ‘Stilgar’ Dechelotte, on the HLTV Confirmed podcast, who reflected that the signing of TaZ focused on ‘vibes,’ stating:

“In this roster, at that time, [we had] so much experience, so much firepower, so much tactical knowledge that we didn’t feel we needed a very strategic coach

We just felt like we needed someone who could drive the collect, and contribute some knowledge that only a Major-winner can bring.”

Certainly, this new roster will likely need someone who can maintain vibes.
