Gen.G has announced the addition of Kim ‘ZynX’ Dong-ha to its 2026 VCT roster ahead of the Pacific Kickoff.
The Korean player replaces Jung ‘Foxy9’ Jae-sung in the team, who is currently a restricted free agent.
With the signing of ZynX, here is Gen.G’s starting roster for VCT 2026 season:

- Kim ‘t3xture’ Na-ra
- Kim ‘ZynX’ Dong-ha

The 18-year old initially joined Gen.G as a stand-in during the 2025 VALORANT Offseason, where he competed in SOOP VALORANT League and VALORANT Radiant International Invitational with the squad.
He will now be making his tier-one debut with the organisation after spending nearly two years with DRX Academy.
“Following the off-season spent with Gen.G, ZynX will move forward as an official member of the team. Please join us in cheering for ZynX as he takes on this new challenge with Gen.G,” the official announcement stated.
ZynX has already made an impact as he became the player with the highest ACS for Gen.G at Radiant International Invitational and helped the team secure a second-place finish in the tournament. In addition to this, he delivered consistent performances during the SOOP Valorant League 2025.
Gen.G Kicks Off 2026 VCT Campaign Against DetonatioN FocusMe
Gen.G will go up against DetonatioN FocusMe on January 23rd at VCT Pacific Kickoff and fans will be able to catch the action live on the VCT Pacific’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
After a successful 2024 VCT season, in which the organisation lifted the VCT Pacific Kickoff, Stage 2, and VALORANT Masters Shanghai trophies, while achieving a runner-up place at Masters Madrid, Gen.G couldn’t claim a single title in 2025.
Not only this, but it also failed to qualify for both Masters Bangkok and Champions Paris, despite dominant showings in regional events.
The team finished third at the 2025 VCT Pacific Kickoff and second in Stage 1; however, it just made it to the Stage 2 playoffs before getting eliminated in the first round.
Heading into the 2026 VCT season, Gen.G will be looking to convert its regional momentum into international success, with the goal of lifting its second Masters trophy and finishing higher at Champions Shanghai.
