Esports and gaming agency Prodigy Agency has merged with international talent agency Sports Entertainment Group (SEG), bringing together two major stakeholders in talent representation.

The deal will see SEG’s long-standing agency network from traditional sports infrastructure expand to form a unified esports and gaming group within the agency.

Prodigy Agency founders Jérôme Coupez and Manon Lagarrigue will continue leading Prodigy Agency as its CEO and COO, while Rowan Stroo, Division Director of SEG Esports, will join the management team.

The merger of both parties combines their respective resources and expertise to support the needs of esports talent and content creators. Since Prodigy Agency’s launch in 2018, it has built a roster of over 300 players, including Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut and Tyson ‘TenZ‘ Ngo.

“This merger unites two powerhouses in sports and gaming,” said Coupez in a press release. “Together, we will better serve and support our family of players, creators, athletes, and partners, and lay the foundation to grow into one of the world’s leading agencies at the intersection of sports and gaming.”

SEG is also no stranger to the esports industry, having represented the likes of FGC player Dominique ‘SonicFox’ McLean and Leandro ‘Virtyy‘ Moreno over the past eight years. In addition to esports, the agency represents more than a thousand talents, including Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Liverpool FC player Cody Gakpo.

Agencies and Esports

Over the past decade, esports agencies have solidified their position within the industry, providing talent with opportunities to secure brand partnerships and supporting various esports titles through marketing and brand activations.

In August 2024, Prodigy Agency and ZywOo launched a limited edition mousemat tested by the Counter-Strike 2 star.

The merger between SEG and Prodigy Agency has created one of the largest esports agencies in the world, featuring some of the most recognisable players and content creators. With both parties combining resources, the agency has positioned itself to continue growth throughout 2026 and beyond.
