Waylay and Yoru together form a viral VCT trend from the 2025 season called the “mosquito” VALORANT team comp. First popularized by the Pacific team DRX, it involves the duelists confusing the enemy team by appearing and disappearing almost instantly using their teleporting abilities.

You can use this combo to effectively spot stubborn enemies and take them out. For example, as Waylay, you can activate Refract and dash in to check for enemies holding a critical space.
