Arcade racing game Trackmania has become the latest title added to the inaugural Esports Nations Cup line-up.
Trackmania is one of 16 titles appearing at the multi-national esports event organised by the Esports World Cup Foundation and debuting in November.
The tournament, taking place from November 19th to 22nd, 2026, features 32 teams representing their national teams competing in Trackmania’s popular Cup Mode throughout the group stage and playoffs.
Cup Mode sees players competing in 1v1v1v1 races to earn points based on their finishing position. Once a player has reached a point threshold, they earn Finalist status. When Finalist status is reached, players must win a round to secure outright victory.
The top four players from each group will advance to the second phase of the competition, featuring a single-elimination bracket to determine the eventual champion.
16 players earn qualification for the Esports Nations Cup through direct invitations using Trackmania’s Elite Cup Ranking, which ranks players based on their placements across ten weekly tournaments. The top five results for each player will count towards their ranking.
Alongside direct invites, regional online qualifiers take place from June 19th to 21st using double elimination brackets. The Americas, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia, and Oceania will host the qualifiers. The final two slots come from the Wildcard slots.
Trackmania And Esports
Trackmania has a rich esports history spanning the last two decades. Before the Esports Nations Cup, the title makes its debut at the Esports World Cup, taking place throughout July and August.
The title’s inclusion at the event has resulted in esports organisations recruiting notable names to compete in high-profile events. Saudi Arabian organisation Team Falcons entered Trackmania with the signing of seven-time world champion Carl-Antoni ‘CarlJr‘ Cloutier on January 22nd.
Trackmania becomes the second title announced for the Esports Nations Cup. It joins Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) on the list of confirmed titles featuring at the first edition of the event.
