Esports tournament organiser PGL has revealed the 12 invited teams competing in PGL Wallachia Season 7.
The Dota 2 event, taking place from March 7th to 15th, sees 16 teams competing for a share of a $1m (~£729,710) prize pool.
The invited teams join the winners of four regional closed qualifiers, offering teams from the Americas, Europe, Asia, and China a chance to earn a place at the main event. GamerLegion, HEROIC, Vici Gaming, and Team Nemesis are among the teams taking part.
For the main event, several notable names have accepted invitations for one of the first high-profile Dota 2 events of the 2026 season. MOUZ head into Season 7 as the defending PGL Wallachia champions, after defeating Team Spirit in a thrilling best-of-five series.
Among the invites are The International 2025 winners Team Falcons, and BLAST Slam V champions Tundra Esports. The latter looks to build on a top-six finish from DreamLeague Season 27. Team Yandex, DreamLeague Season 27 champions, aims to continue its strong start to the season with another strong showing in Bucharest, Romania.
PGL Wallachia Season 7 is part of the organiser’s wider commitment to supporting the Dota 2 esports ecosystem. In April 2025, it revealed plans to host events over the next two years, with eleven tournaments taking place between 2026 and 2028.
