Esports organisation TSM has announced that it’s letting go of its Apex Legends roster.

On February 1st, TSM’s entire Apex Legends roster was let go, including Ira ‘Dooplex’ Shepherd, Rigoberto ‘Gent’ Padilla and Nathaniel ‘Panic’ Arthur. The announcement on X (formerly Twitter) read: “It’s been an incredible year with the HUSS crew, and we can’t wait to see the new heights you reach as a trio.”

Apex Legends Fans Disappointed With TSM

Dooplex and Gent were signed to TSM in April 28th, 2025. This was followed by Panic soon after, signing on May 24th, 2025. This completed TSM’s Apex Legends trio.

The squad performed pretty adequately but never saw true success at any big events in 2025, including a 7th-place finish at the ALGS: 2025 Split 1 Pro League – Americas in June 2025 and 7th once more at the ALGS: 2026 Championship in January 2026, showing improvement over the season.

TSM claims that the departure is to due to the organisation wanting to ‘reacquire’ a roster ‘close to the start of the competitive LAN season,’ which is not for another few months. Fans took this to mean that the organisation didn’t want to pay Dooplex, Gent or Panic for those months ahead of the season, putting no emphasis on online competitions.

TSM has not responded to the fan backlash, but some fans have questioned their loyalty to the organisation after this ‘bad’ decision.

While the Apex Legends community is not happy with TSM for letting go of the roster, Panic’s fanbase on Twitch has been growing. He recently reached 20,000 followers and has been showing his streaming statistics for the past month.

It’s currently unclear where the former TSM squad will go heading into the next Apex Legends season. ALGS Year 6 will begin on February 28th with the Online Open, which runs until March 23rd. Qualified teams will head to the Pro League Split 1 at the start of April 2026.
