BLAST Slam VI has entered the Playoffs following the conclusion of a dramatic Group and Play-In Stage.
Starting from February 13th, 2026, the top six teams will go head-to-head in a single-bracket elimination for a place in the Grand Finals, where the winner will earn the lion’s share of a $1m (~£732,700) prize pool.
The Playoffs will see Team Falcons face Team Liquid, and Team Yandex play against HEROIC. The winners will go on to face OG Esports and NAVI, respectively, in the Semi-Finals the next day.
The top six line-up was confirmed after a chaotic Play-In Stage, which saw the elimination of top Dota 2 teams such as Team Spirit and The International runner-up Xtreme Gaming, among others.
Tundra Esports was the most surprising elimination, losing 0-2 to the Last-Chance winner HEROIC. Tundra Esports has been a back-to-back winner since BLAST Slam II last February, securing $1.2m (~£879,240) in total prize pool winnings from the tournament series so far.
Top Teams To Look Out For in the Playoffs
The Playoffs are anticipated to include intense matches between some of the best teams in the world, with a new champion also set to be crowned.
Team Falcons is a strong contender, following its victory at last year’s The International. Team Falcons has placed runner-up in past BLAST Slams, but with Tundra Esports eliminated, the team stands a good chance of going all the way and winning the competition.
OG Esports is another team to keep an eye on in the Playoffs, ranking among the top teams in the Group Stage. The organisation’s new Dota 2 roster has proven to be more than a match against the Dota 2 performers, being one of four teams to acquire seven wins in the Group Stage. Only time will tell whether OG can continue this momentum all the way to the Grand Finals.
All matches during the Playoffs will be BO5, concluding with the Grand Finals on February 15th, 2026. Matches can be watched live through the official BLAST Dota Twitch and YouTube channels
