Passion UA signs Senzu to CS2 roster

Passion UA has signed Azbayar ‘Senzu‘ Munkhbold to its Counter-Strike 2 roster on loan from The MongolZ.

The signing comes after the 19-year-old rifler was placed on the bench shortly after The MongolZ topped the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) in October 2025.

Announced on February 13th, Senzu joins Passion UA alongside Argentinian AWPer Santino ‘try‘ Rigal, who has replaced Håkon ‘hallzerk‘ Fjærli on the starting line-up. The organisation has yet to reveal which player will make way for Senzu.

The addition of Senzu comes after Passion UA’s recent performances at BLAST Bounty Season 1 and IEM Krakow 2026. The organisation, owned by footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko, failed to win any of its matches during the first two Tier 1 events of the season.

Senzu’s last appearance at a CS2 event came at the Thunderpick World Championship in October 2025. The MongolZ scored a third-place finish after defeating Aurora Gaming 2-1 in the event’s Third Place Match.

The Mongolian rifler is no stranger to competing at the highest tier of Counter-Strike esports. During his two-year stint representing The MongolZ, Senzu won the Esports World Cup in 2025 and finished second at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Following a tricky start to 2026, Passion UA’s new-look line-up returns to action at Roman Imperium Cup V, taking place from February 19th to 22nd. The Tier 2 event acts as an opportunity for the team to earn VRS points and secure a place at the IEM Cologne Major in June.

Currently ranked seventh in the Americas VRS, Passion UA joins the likes of Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Gentle Mates among the 16 teams competing at the event. The month of February closes out with the team competing in the online stage of ESL Pro League Season 23 from February 7th to March 9th.

The arrival of Senzu has the potential to add a wealth of firepower to the Passion UA roster as it looks to cement itself as one of the region’s top teams.
