Faker T1 contract to last until 2029 for another “legendary chapter”

League of Legends Korean titans confirm that a new Faker T1 contract will keep the iconic esports player signed to their organisation until 2029.

Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, also known by titles such as “The Unkillable Demon King,” will remain with T1 for the foreseeable future.

Contract resigning confirms 16 years of Faker at T1 

Faker has become synonymous with T1 after first signing to the organisation in 2013, while it was under its previous name, SK Telecom T1.

AZUWU joins Monte, Bymas and afro confirmed to roster

Britain’s Oscar ‘AZUWU’ Bell has joined Monte on a permanent basis, following his release from SAW in June. AZUWU joins up with fellow Brit Jack ‘Gizmy’ von Spreckelsen, who has been IGLing the international roster since last September.

Monte currently sits at #72 in HLTV’s live model of the VRS, with the roster primarily competing in tier two and three online competition, with mixed results in 2025. The organisation will look to push up the rankings and close in on those valuable Major positions now that they have a settled roster.
