Fnatic take out the trash at VCT Masters Toronto

Fnatic continued their journey in the lower bracket of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Toronto after defeating Sentinels.

The series saw an intense back-and-forth from each side as both sides faced elimination from the tournament.

Fnatic barely took the series 2-1 to proceed in the lower bracket to face G2 Esports on Friday.

Sentinels sunsets Fnatic’s early hopes

The first map took Fnatic to Sunset, where they have little experience on, with the exception of their loss to Gen.G Esports. 

Their inexperience showed as Sentinels took the first few rounds and the lead on the map.

The Apex Legends Global Series Midseason Playoffs has re-sparked Esports World Cup controversy after a pro player withdrew from participation due to the event’s location. 

EA decided to integrate the Midseason Playoffs LAN into the Esports World Cup itself. This means that players are forced to participate in the Saudi Arabian tournament

Irish WYLDE makes return in Rainbow Six Europe MENA League

The Irish team Wylde made their debut in tier one Rainbow Six: Siege esports at the BLAST Europe MENA League 2025 – Stage 1.

Co-owned by renowned athlete Usain Bolt, the team took on Fnatic in their first match of the tournament.

Looking to rebuild after their first loss, Wylde are set to face Team BDS later today at 8pm BST.

Who are WYLDE?

Wylde are an Irish esports organisation based in Cork, Ireland, that returns to tier one Rainbow Six: Siege (R6) esports after rebuilding to focus on an academy roster.

ALGS Midseason qualifications – who will attend the Esports World Cup?

The Apex Legends Global Series Regional Finals marked the end of the Split 1 Regular Season and solidified ALGS Midseason qualifications. 

Set to be held at the Esports World Cup, the ALGS Midseason Playoffs offers a $2,000,000 USD (~£1,475,000 GBP) prize pool and crucial Championship Points for later in the year. 

ALGS Midseason Qualifications by Region

The ALGS features four regional leagues: The Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), APAC-N (Asia/Pacific North, including Japan and South Korea), and APAC-S (Asia/Pacific South, including Australia and South/South East Asia). 

Each region has an individual competitive circuit.

The team performed miracles throughout the tournament, defeating some of the best each region has to offer.

They have one last stop on their way to the Grand Final as they take on the Paper Rex hype train.

FlyQuest best Cloud9 to become LTA North champions

FlyQuest are once again North American League of Legends champions after winning the LTA North Conference.

Last year, they were the strongest North American team at LoL World championships, pushing Gen.G to all five games in the Quarterfinals.

Now they will test themselves internationally again at this year’s Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).

G2 Esports is the first team to qualify for the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Champions 2025.

After defeating Xi Lai Gaming, G2 have amassed enough Championship Points to guarantee their place in Paris later this year.

VCT Champions 2025 is set to take place in Paris, France, from October to November, as the best teams in the world compete for the biggest prize and title of the year.
