Tundra Esports crowned BLAST Slam IV champions

Tundra Esports has become back-to-back-to-back champions after beating Team Falcons 3-2 in the BLAST Slam IV Grand Finals.

The team secured the lion’s share of a $1m (~£760,000) prize pool and has successfully qualified for BLAST Slam VI next year.

Tundra Esports was one of 12 invited teams that competed in the Dota 2 tournament, playing from October 14th to November 9th, 2025.

Tundra Esports began the tournament with a splash, establishing itself as one of the favourites to win after topping the Group Stage with a 9-2 win/loss ratio. Tundra Esports then qualified for the Grand Finals by defeating MOUZ 2-1 in the Semi-finals during the Playoffs.

The Playoffs and Grand Finals all took place in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The finals saw an intense showdown between two of the best teams in the Dota 2 scene. Team Falcons claimed first blood, followed by Tundra Esports claiming match two. After match three, Team Falcons was one win away from becoming champions.

However, Tundra Esports made the ultimate comeback by winning the final two matches, defeating The International 2025 champions.

Tundra Esports continues its rampage in BLAST Slam, having now won three out of the four tournaments held so far. It previously won BLAST Slam III after defeating Team Falcons 3-1, and BLAST Slam II by securing a 3-0 win against Gaimin Gladiators.

The next tournament, BLAST Slam V, will take place from November 25th to December 7th, 2025, where teams will once again compete for a $1m prize pool and a place in Slam VI.

BLAST Slam IV Viewership

According to Esports Charts, thousands of viewers tuned in to see some of the best teams in Dota 2 compete.

BLAST Slam IV attracted a peak viewership of 289,202 users, which was reached during the Grand Finals match between Tundra Esports and Team Falcons. The tournament accumulated over 6.8m hours watched, with an average viewership of around 95,000 across an airtime of over 71 hours.

Esports Charts estimates that the media value of the event, which calculates the rough sponsorship value of a tournament, reached as high as $2.5m (~£1.9m).
