OG Esports has unveiled an all-Filipino roster for Dota 2 as the organisation will now compete in the South East Asia region.
A two-minute trailer was posted online by the organisation, revealing the organisation’s bold relocation from Europe to the Philippines.
OG Esports’ new squad is comprised of the entire Team Aureus line-up, which recently competed in BLAST Slam IV.
These are all the Dota 2 players that have joined OG Esports:
- John ‘Natsumi‘ Anthony Vargas
- Erin ‘Yopaj-‘ Jasper Ferrer
- Nikko ‘Nikko‘ Bilocura
- Timothy ‘TIMS‘ Randrup
- Rolen ‘skem‘ Andrei Gabriel Ong
The team will be coached by Adam ‘343‘ Erwann Shah bin Akhtar Husseih, who has experience coaching for teams like Fnatic.
Meet The Players
There are several notable additions to OG Esports’ new roster. Natsumi played for Talon Esports in 2024, winning the MESA Invitational after defeating Natus Vincere 2-0 in the Grand Finals. Nikko, otherwise known as ‘Force‘, previously played for MOUZ in 2024, winning the Dota 2 World Invitationals by securing a 3-0 win against L1GA TEAM.
Several of its players, including Yopaj, Tims, and Skem, played for BOOM Esports, which had a strong run in 2022 by winning events such as GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022.
Fans can see OG in action during PGL Wallachia Season 6 from November 15th to 23rd, 2025. OG Esports will face off against rosters like Team Liquid, MOUZ and Tundra Esports for the lion’s share of a $1m (~£760,000) prize pool.
OG Esports in Dota 2
OG Esports has been a staple in the Dota 2 esports scene, claiming key victories over the years across various majors and tournaments.
The organisation cemented its name in the history books after winning The International 2018, defeating PSG.LGD 3-2 in the Grand Finals to take home over $11.2m (~£8.5m) in winnings. It also won the following year’s crowning event by securing a 3-1 win against Team Liquid, taking home $15.6m (~£11.8m) in prize funds. This established the organisation as the first, and currently only, team to win the event back-to-back.
In 2025, OG Esports has seen varying levels of success. It recently competed in DreamLeague Division 2, fighting for a place in Season 27. The organisation placed ninth out of 16 teams after losing 0-2 to Team Tea in the Lower Brackets during the Playoffs.
