Fnatic has confirmed its roster for the 2026 VCT season at INZONE London Clash 2025, announcing the addition of Sylvain ‘Veqaj’ Pattyn.

The French player has replaced Timofey ‘Chronicle’ Khromov on the roster and made his debut under the organisation’s banner on November 9th against GIANTX.

“HE’S FINALLY HERE. JOINING A TEAM FULL OF LEGACY TO CREATE HIS OWN. FNATIC Veqaj,” Fnatic announced on X (Twitter).

Here is the full active roster for the British organisation for VCT 2026:

  • Jake ‘Boaster’ Howlett (IGL)
  • Emir ‘Alfajer’ Beder
  • Kajetan ‘kaajak’ Haremski
  • Austin ‘crashies’ Roberts
  • Sylvain ‘Veqaj’ Pattyn
  • Milan ‘Milan’ de Meij (Head Coach)
  • Benjamin ‘Scuttt’ Hutchinson (Assistant Coach)

Before joining Fnatic, Veqaj was part of Gentle Mates and played the role of an initiator.

However, in the series against GIANTX, he was placed in three different roles – sentinel, controller, and duelist. He showcased an impactful performance, achieving a 45/39/5 KDA, which helped the team secure a 2-1 victory.

That said, the 22-year-old will have to fill the big void left by the Chronicle after his transfer to Team Vitality. However, the start looks promising.

Even though Gentle Mates couldn’t achieve much in Tier 1, Veqaj’s efforts were widely recognised by the VALORANT community for his consistency across VCT EMEA Stage 1 and Stage 2.

What’s Ahead for Fnatic?

Fnatic has a history of signing young players from the Tier 2 scene who go on to have successful journeys in VCT.

A couple of examples include kaajak, who is the team’s primary duelist, and Maks ‘kamyk’ Rychlewski, who is currently with Gentle Mates after spending a year with Team Liquid. It will be interesting to see how Veqaj develops under Boaster’s leadership.

Fnatic will next participate in Red Bull Home Ground 2025, which is scheduled to take place from November 13th to 16th in New York.

The event will be streamed live on Red Bull Gaming’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
