N.Flying releases cover of two League of Legends esports anthems

South Korean rock band N.Flying has unveiled a cover medley featuring two iconic League of Legends esports anthems.

The video was released on November 9th, the same day as the 2025 World Championship Grand Finals, and sees the band perform covers of GODS and Legends Never Die.

GODS was originally performed by K-pop group New Jeans for Worlds 2023. Meanwhile, Legends Never Die was performed by Against The Current for the 2017 League of Legends World Championship. 

Against the Current’s vocalist, Chrissy Costanza, was recently a performer at this year’s Worlds opening ceremony, where she also performed a medley of past esports anthems. 

First debuting in 2013, N.Flying is a pop-rock group that consists of six members. Alongside singing covers on YouTube, the band also releases original music. This includes the 2016 song Rooftop, which currently has over 100m views on the video-sharing platform. 

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time N.Flying has covered a medley of League of Legends songs. In 2022, the band covered Warriors, Enemy, RISE and POP/STARS in a YouTube video. 

Riot Games’ latest Worlds anthem was performed by popular Asian artist G.E.M. The music video for Sacrifice currently stands at over 114m views and features various Easter eggs related to League of Legends’ long history. 

Given League of Legends’ popularity within South Korea, it is no surprise that many K-pop artists have been involved in projects related to the MOBA title. Two of Riot Games’ virtual groups — HEARTSTEEL and K/DA — feature popular idols as members. In 2022, T1 teamed up with THE BOYZ for its own Worlds anthem.

Most recently, Faker — now a six-time world champion following last weekend’s victory – made a cameo in Stray Kids’ music video Ceremony. Moreover, in a League of Legends-adjacent crossover, Aespa’s NINGNING released a collaborative song for League of Legends: Wild Rift’s fifth anniversary.
