Blacklyte named furniture partner of StarLadder Budapest Major

StarLadeer Budapest Major 2025 has announced Blacklyte as the furniture partner for the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament.

The brand will equip all setups at the Major, including on-stage booths and backstage practice areas, with its gaming furniture

Since 2021, Toronto-based furniture manufacturer Blacklyte has been producing chairs and desks designed for gamers and esports professionals. Like fellow gaming chair brands, DXRacer and Secretlab, Blacklyte has partnered with several esports stakeholders to increase awareness for its products within the scene. 

These partners include esports organisations Fnatic, Team Spirit and Team Liquid. Moreover, Blacklyte introduced special edition chairs for the BLAST.tv Austin Major in June.

For the upcoming Budapest Major, the brand will also host the Blacklyte PlayZone, where event attendees can try out Blacklyte products, participate in giveaways and receive exclusive merch.

CS2’s second Major of the year, the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, will take place from November 24th until December 14th. 

Among the 32 qualified teams, eight have been directly invited to the event’s Stage 2 and 3, respectively, based on VRS rating. The remaining 16 teams must first survive the start of the Swiss Stage.

In addition, the competition in Budapest will be the first CS Major to use a best-of-five (BO5) format for its Grand Final.

As the Budapest Major heads closer, StarLadder has revealed ZOWIE as the tournament’s monitor partner, as well as a partnership with gaming peripheral brand Corsair. Counter-Strike fans can also celebrate the competing players and teams through in-game stickers and Pick Ems.
