According to DATA.BET’s internal analytics, live betting was the main source of user activity for the tournament, accounting for 69.2% of all betting turnover.

Worlds 2025 had a significantly higher pre-match share than the majority of this year’s major tournaments, with pre-match betting accounting for the remaining 30.8%.

When looking at match-level data, the finals between T1 and KT Rolster accounted for 8.3% of the total tournament turnover, followed by Anyone’s Legend vs. T1 at 7.2% and Gen.G vs. KT Rolster at 5.7%.

These numbers highlight how crucial high-stakes games are to boosting overall betting activity during the event.

Market Distribution and User Engagement Trends

According to DATA.BET, the most popular betting categories for Worlds 2025 where Map Winner (32.7% of turnover) and Match Winner (29.5%), together making up more than half of all wagers made throughout the competition.

Map Total Kills, Map Handicap, and Map Duration are examples of supporting markets that continued to gain traction, particularly during knockout stage matches.

In comparison to the previous year’s world championship, DATA.BET reports a 26% increase in total betting turnover and a 27% increase in the number of unique active betting users.

With steady audience growth and ongoing engagement, League of Legends continues to provide steady commercial value as a premier esports betting discipline.

Because outright and match-level outcomes continue to be user favorites, this distribution validates the significance of varied market offerings for bettors.

Recently, in DATA.BET’s Q3 2025 report, the company noted that League of Legends reocrded a 290% increase in turnover, a 416% increase in profit, and a 221% increase in bets compared to Q3 2024.
