Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has announced online casino and sports betting platform Stake as its latest Official Tier 1 Anti-Corruption Partner.

The partnership aims to advance ESIC’s goal of detecting, evaluating, and investigating suspicious betting activity across the competitive gaming industry.

Via ESIC’s Anti-Corruption Supporter programme, Stake will utilise real-time monitoring and information exchange. Moreover, through increased collaboration with esports tournament organisers and regulators, the programme’s structure aims to improve the early detection and resolution of integrity issues.

The programme strengthens ESIC’s capacity to prevent, look into, and respond to threats to fair competition in esports events through data sharing and collaborative investigations.

Stake joins an ever-growing list of gambling companies as part of ESIC’s anti-corruption push. This year alone, the commission has secured deals with Rollbit, BETBY and Thundrerpick, among others.

Collaboration Bolsters Integrity Frameworks

Stake will provide its operational data and insights to ESIC’s integrity monitoring network as part of this new collaboration.

This role will help the Commission continue advancing transparency, accountability, and sustainability in competitive gaming.

Jarrod Febbraio, Director of Stake, highlighted the significance of the collaboration: “This partnership formalizes Stake’s commitment to protecting integrity and transparency across the global esports ecosystem. As the world’s leading online-first betting operator, supporting the industry is central to our strategy and our scale makes this collaboration with ESIC essential”.

In order to fight cheating, match-fixing, and other dangers to the reputation of competitive gaming, ESIC continues to collaborate with publishers, tournament organisers, and business partners.

The participation of significant betting companies like Stake highlights a broader industry effort to guarantee that esports continue to be trustworthy and equitable for players and fans around the globe.
