The first match of the day started off with Team Liquid BR and G2 Gozen facing off on Haven. Although the EMEA representatives secured the first two rounds and appeared to have a promising start, Team Liquid quickly took control of the map. Moving forward, G2 was able to win just one more round as Team Liquid closed out the first map with a dominant 13–3 scoreline.

The second map, Corrode, told a similar story; however, this time it was G2 dictating the pace, as the American side achieved 13-2 win to force the series to the decider map.

The final map of the series, Split, kept fans on their toes as it headed to overtime. After G2 put 11-9 on the board, Team Liquid responded with three back-to-back round wins to hit the 11-12 scoreline, and eventually secured a 14-12 victory after overtime.

Natália ‘daiki’ Vilela, the IGL of Team Liquid, played a crucial role in this 2-1 win over G2 with her 52/37/21 KDA performance.

Right from the beginning of the series on Abyss, Shopify Rebellion Gold demonstrated why it has won the Game Changers Championship twice.

Karmine Corp GC didn’t stand a chance at all as Shopify Rebellion Gold built an 8-2 lead before the European side managed to achieve a respectable score of 8-4 in the first half. Shopify then won five of the next six rounds to close out the map at 13-5.

Haven started off in Karmine Corp’s favour as the team secured the first two rounds, followed by the bonus round as well. However, Shopify winning five back-to-back rounds got Karmine Corp fans worried, but the team responded with eight consecutive rounds to establish a massive lead of seven rounds. Capitalising on the momentum, the French organisation comfortably reached a 13-7 scoreline.

Sunset kicked off in a similar fashion early on, with Karmine Corp snatching the first three rounds before Shopify snatched the lead away. However, this time Karmine Corp was not able to pull it back, and the American representative let its opponent win just a couple more rounds to seal the map by 13-6 and series by 2-1.

Nicole ‘Noia’ Tierce from Shopify was the MVP of the series as she scored 245 ACS and 52/37/9 KDA.
