What is KIC 2025?
The Honor of Kings International Championship is a pivotal event in the mobile game’s 2025 competitive season, where the best team outside of China is decided.
Running from November 14th to 30th, 2025, 16 of the best teams across the world play in the Philippines for the lion’s share of its $1m (~£760,000) prize pool and a place in the Challenger Cup 2025.
There are many notable teams competing in the tournament, including Rex Regum Qeon, OG Esports, Twisted Minds, and last year’s champion HomeBois BSE, formerly Black Shrew Esports.
KIC 2025 enters the last stretch of the Playoffs, where teams will compete for a place in the Grand Finals. As of writing, Nova Esports will face off against HomeBois BSE to secure the first spot in the Grand Finals.
Blacklist International, Twisted Minds, Alpha Gaming, and BOOM Esports are competing in the Lower Brackets in the hopes of finding a way to the Grand Final.
Only time will tell whether HomeBois BSE can retain its crown, or if another team can steal a win and become the new champion ahead of the next Honor of Kings season.
