After a year-long hiatus to make way for the LTA, the Campeonato Brasileiro de League of Legends (CBLOL) returns, starting with the CBLOL Cup 2026.

Kicking off the 2026 season, the CBLOL Cup will run from January 17th until February 28th, offering one slot at First Stand, the first international League of Legends tournament of the year.

With established Brazilian teams as well as new faces coming together in São Paulo’s Riot Games Arena, esports fans can look forward to a month full of back-to-back high-stakes matches.

CBLOL Cup 2026: Teams

The CBLOL Cup will feature six Brazilian partner teams as well as two additional invited rosters:

  • Fluxo W7M
  • FURIA
  • Keyd Stars
  • LOUD
  • paiN Gaming
  • RED Canids
  • Leviatán
  • LOS Grandes

Leviatán will represent the Liga Latinoamérica (LLA), while LOS was announced as a guest team following the exit of 2026 Promotion Tournament winner, Isurus Gaming.

Format

The eight participating organisations will begin the CBLOL Cup with the Regular Season. Between January 17th and February 1st, all teams will face off in BO1 matches.

The top four emerging teams will advance to the double-elimination Playoffs. Moreover, the first two seeds will earn a direct bye into the Upper Bracket Semifinals, with seed one being allowed to choose its position in the bracket and its potential future opponents.

Meanwhile, seeds five to eight must first secure one of the two remaining Playoffs slots through the Play-In Stage:

  • Seeds five and six will compete in a best-of-three (BO3) series, with the winner advancing to the Playoffs as seed five.
  • The loser, however, will play against the winner of the BO3 between the Regular Season’s seventh and eighth-placed teams.
  • The two survivors will then compete in a best-of-five (BO5) for the final Playoffs slot (seed six).

Afterwards, the Playoffs will take place from February 7th to 28th.

Similar to the Play-In phase, the Playoffs bracket will commence with BO3s and then switch to BO5s for all lower-bracket matches, as well as the Upper Bracket Final and the Grand Final. All BO3s and BO5s will use Fearless Draft.

After underwhelming performances throughout the past two years, LLA’s Leviatán is heading to the CBLOL Cup 2026 with a brand-new roster. Among the new signings is midlaner Eneas ‘Enga’ Protti, who has been competing within the South American scene since 2019. The Argentine player had a successful 2025 season, winning two Liga Regional Sur splits with his previous team, Farenvehn.

Similarly, CBLOL veteran Leonardo ‘Robo’ Souza has returned to paiN Gaming for the upcoming season following a four-year tenure with Brazilian rival LOUD. The top laner looks back on a challenging year in the LTA and will be looking to prove he can still take Brazilian teams to global events after over 10 years of competing.

LOUD has not only replaced its top laner but it also reworked the majority of its roster, including two imports from South Korea. One of them is Ko ‘Youngjae’ Young-jae, who has represented the likes of BRION and Freecs in the LCK. Recently, the player competed in LCK Challengers for KT Rolster’s academy team. After more than five years of competitive experience, this will be the jungler’s first season abroad.

Finally, Keyd Stars was the only South American organisation to represent the region at last year’s League of Legends World Championship, thanks to its second-place finish at the LTA Championship in September. Given its successful 2025 season, the team only made one roster change ahead of CBLOL. However, it is the signing of Ling ‘Kaiwing’ Kai-wing

As part of CTBC Flying Roster, Kaiwing dominated Pacific’s LCP to make all three global events in 2025 and made it to the quarterfinals at Worlds 2025. As Keyd Stars’ first-ever Hong Kong import, Kaiwing is stepping into the shoes of veteran support player Adrian ‘Trymbi’ Trybus.
