100 Thieves Roobet has announced the signing of Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz, completing its Counter-Strike roster ahead of the upcoming competitive calendar.

The Danish AWPer joins after more than eight years of cumulative time with Astralis. It’s an announcement that came as no surprise to many fans, given his recent exit from the latter organization. It’s been rumoured all over social media as fans awaited the official announcement.

The signing follows support staff signings of Graham ‘messioso’ Pitt and Sean ‘sgares’ Gares, in addition to Andre ‘Ag1l” Gil, William ‘sirah’ Kjaersgaard, Håvard ‘Rain’ Nygaard and Alex ‘poiii’ Sundgren. With dev1ce’s signing, the new roster is complete.

dev1ce will also reunite with former Astralis teammate Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander, who now serves as Head Coach at 100 Thieves. The pair enjoyed one of the most successful eras in Counter-Strike history between 2017 and 2020, winning four Majors and numerous elite-level trophies together.

100 Thieves revealed the signing in a post on X (formerly Twitter), describing dev1ce as ‘The King of 🇩🇰 Counter-Strike’ and welcoming him to the organisation. He responded to the announcement with a tongue-in-cheek message on the platform, posting: “Lets f-ing go. Their CoD team sucks tho.”

A Decorated Counter-Strike Career

dev1ce is regarded as one of Counter-Strike’s most accomplished players. During his time with Astralis, he helped define an era of dominance, claiming Major titles at events such as ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017, FACEIT Major London 2018 and the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, alongside securing the Intel Grand Slam Season One.

Across his career, the Dane has lifted dozens of international trophies and consistently competed at the highest level of the esport for more than a decade.

More recently, dev1ce has remained active in Counter-Strike 2, competing throughout 2024 and 2025 across multiple S-Tier events, including Intel Extreme Masters, BLAST Premier tournaments and PGL Majors. While results have been mixed in the latter stages of his career, his experience and pedigree are expected to play a key role in shaping 100 Thieves’ new roster.

100 Thieves’ Counter-Strike Rebuild

The signing signals a clear statement of intent from 100 Thieves as it looks to re-establish itself in top-tier Counter-Strike competition. By pairing dev1ce with gla1ve once again, the organisation is leaning on a proven partnership that previously delivered sustained success on the biggest stages.

With its roster now complete, attention will turn to how quickly the team can find consistency and translate its individual experience into results in Counter-Strike 2.

100 Thieves has not confirmed when dev1ce will make his competitive debut under the organisation’s banner.
