Level Infinite, the developer of mobile MOBA game Honor of Kings (HoK), has unveiled the eight invited teams that will take part in the Honor of Kings Invitational (KIS) Season 4.
Taking place at the GBK Basketball Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia, from January 31st to February 8th, the competition will see the best global HOK teams compete ahead of the 2026 season.
Through an official post, the game publisher has confirmed the squads that will be taking part in the pre-season tournament. Given the popularity of the game in Southeast Asia (SEA), it’s not surprising to see several representatives from those regions.
Alongside Indonesian-based teams, Bigetron by Vitality, Dominator Esports, and Kagendra, HoK Invitational Season 4 will feature Philippine squads Blacklist International and BOOM Esports.
NOVA Esports and Team HAQ from Malaysia have also been announced for the competition. In particular, NOVA Esports came second at the 2025 Honor of Kings International Championship in November. The only non-SEA and last invited team is Brazilian squad Loops, which won its home region’s Fall and Spring championships.
This year’s edition will feature fewer teams compared to 2025, which had 12 squads determined by qualifiers. At the time of writing, it’s also unclear whether the competition will have a similar prize pool to its $300,000 (∼£237,099) amount last year.
KIS Season 4 Format and Schedule
The Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 will see the eight teams first compete in a group stage, before moving over to the Knockouts starting on February 5. This will then continue until the grand final on February 8th. The full match schedule has yet to be confirmed.
KIS Season 4 will also host the Knockout Stage of the newly rebranded Honor of Kings Women’s Series (KWS), a female-only competition. The top eight teams will compete in a single elimination bracket with a combined prize pool of $10,000 (~£7,430).
