In July 2023, GGBET.co.uk made its debut in the UK market after Rednines Gaming Ltd. obtained the rights to use the esports and sports betting company’s trademark.
However, as part of a planned platform closure, GG.BET is preparing to cease operations under its UK Gambling Commission license.
In order to guarantee that clients can withdraw any remaining funds and receive assistance prior to the end of services, the operator has confirmed that this procedure will be handled in phases.
GGBET.co.uk decided to cease the creation of new sign-ups, deposits, and bets on slots, live casino games, and sports events from December 12th, 2025.
Users are allowed to log into their accounts and make withdrawals of their funds up to January 9th, 2026. Pending withdrawal requests will be honoured in the way they were initially made, if it is still feasible.
Unsettled wagers on events scheduled after the closure date will be void, and stakes will be automatically returned to player accounts; bets on events occurring prior to the closure date will be settled as usual.
GG.BET’s Ongoing Esports Footprint
Through its partnerships and operations, the GG.BET brand continues to have a significant influence on global esports betting, despite the shutdown of the UK platform.
GG.BET unveiled the Bet Builder feature in December 2025. This tool enables users to make same-match bets across a variety of sports and esports titles, such as basketball, football, hockey, League of Legends, Dota 2, CS2 and VALORANT.
Additionally, the company worked with Esports Charts to create Esports Map, an interactive web tool that covers tournaments in 110 countries and provides information on popular titles, prize pools, and viewership from 2017 to 2025.
The “Match of LeGGends” CS2 showmatch between NAVI and football team FC Dynamo Kyiv was organised by GG.BET in September 2025 as an exhibition event intended to unite fans of traditional sports and esports.
These initiatives show that the larger GG.BET brand is active in esports-focused products, data projects, and special event activations in other regulated markets. However, from a betting standpoint, GG.BET will soon be unable to tap into the UK market for the time being.
