Riot Games has unveiled the 2026 VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Team Capsules ahead of the new esports season.

All partner teams competing in VCT EMEA, VCT Americas, VCT Pacific, and VCT China have received a new capsule including a variety of in-game items for players to purchase.

Revealed on January 6th, 2026, each Team Capsule will include an updated Classic skin with new visual effects, an animated player card, an achievement tracker inspect, team spray and a team Gun Buddy. As a result of winning VALORANT Champions in 2025, NRG‘s capsule includes a range of exclusive Champions elements commemorating its achievement.

In addition to NRG’s unique design, this year’s Team Capsules feature a new design along with an exclusive Winner’s Flair awarded to teams that have won a championship.

It is worth noting that new teams competing in the VCT have yet to receive a capsule as of this writing. This includes VCT Americas Ascension 2025 winner ENVY, VCT EMEA’s PCIFIC Esports and ULF Esports, as well as VCT Pacific’s VARREL.

Alongside revealing the new set of capsules, Riot Games also announced that it shared $100m (~£74.1m) with VCT teams in 2025. “Your engagement gives us confidence to continue investing in and building a sustainable future for the VCT,” said Riot Games on social media.

The figure is a significant increase compared to 2024’s figure of over $44m (~£32.6m) generated through the sale of Team Capsules and the Champions Collection.

Fans can purchase a Team Capsule from January 13th for 2,320 VP, while those who previously bought a capsule in 2024 and 2025 will receive a discounted price of 1,650 VP.

The Importance Of VCT Team Capsules

VCT Team Capsules remain an integral part of the VALORANT esports ecosystem. Alongside enabling fans to support their favourite teams, 50% of the net profits generated through sales are split across all VCT teams.

With $100m split across the teams in 2025, the revenue-sharing initiative aims to build and maintain a sustainable ecosystem where all partner teams benefit from the success of high sales figures.
