Call of Duty Warzone tournament Pullze Check Ladder returns with $40,000 prize pool

Call of Duty: Warzone tournament Pullze Check Ladder has announced its return for the 2026 season.

Registrations for players to take part in the tournament’s Season 1 qualifiers open on January 7th, before the qualifiers begin on January 12th.

Unveiled on January 6th, Season 1 of Pullze Check Ladder will build on feedback obtained from Season 0, which took place in February 2025. The top 24 teams from the open qualifiers will secure a place in the Group Stage, where they are divided into three groups of eight.

Beginning on January 19th, each group will play each other twice over a two week period to determine the 16 teams that qualify for the finals. Further details on the event format will arrive at a later date.

The remaining 16 teams will compete for a share of the $40,000 (~£29,646) prize pool and a chance to become the Pullze Check Ladder Season 1 champion. Scheduled for February 8th, the Grand Final will use the Match Point format. Teams must reach 200 points to achieve Match Point status and win a match to secure victory.

The launch of Season 1 marks the first notable Call of Duty: Warzone tournament taking place in 2026. Following the conclusion of the 2025 World Series of Warzone season, Activision has yet to unveil its plans for what it has in store for its battle royale esports circuit.

Despite the lack of information surrounding an Activision-sanctioned esports circuit, several organisations continue to field rosters in high-profile tournaments.

In December 2025, South Korean organisation T1 expanded into Warzone esports with the signing of a UK-based trio, headlined by former Team Vision player ‘Echo‘. Elsewhere, Gen.G recruited Aydan ‘Aydan‘ Conrad to its roster following victory at the Esports World Cup under the Twisted Minds banner.

The launch of Pullze Check Ladder Season 1 is a positive step as Warzone’s esports ecosystem continues to grow and attract high-profile organisations. Thanks to open qualifiers, the tournament is an excellent opportunity for up-and-coming talent to showcase their skills against some of the best players in the world.
