Mobile Legends: Bang Bang‘s M7 World Championship has become the fourth most-watched esports event in history.
The seventh edition of the mobile MOBA’s season-ending tournament recorded a peak viewership of 5.6m across its 128-hour airtime.
According to esports analytics and viewership platform Esports Charts, the event reached its peak during the Grand Final between Alter Ego and Aurora Gaming. In addition to ranking as the fourth most-watched esports event of all time, the M7 World Championship also became the most-watched MLBB World Championship, beating the previous record of 5.06 million set by the M5.
Compared to 2024 M6 World Championship, peak viewership increased by 1.5m, marking a 36% increase. The total number of hours watched also experienced a significant rise from 85.6m to 135.5m.
The M7 World Championship is now the most-watched mobile esports event of all time. The peak viewership is 265,000 higher than the 2021 Free Fire World Series held in Singapore, which recorded a peak of 5.4 million in May 2021.
The most-watched esports event in history remains the 2024 League of Legends World Championship, which recorded a 6.8 million peak during its Grand Final.
The Growth Of Mobile Esports
Over the past 12 months, mobile esports has continued to grow as it expands its presence across the Western markets. Within Asia, it remains one of the largest sectors of the industry, featuring a range of large-scale tournaments and notable organisations fielding rosters.
In November 2025, Honor of Kings broke the Guinness World Record for the largest live attendance for an esports match, with over 62,000 fans attending the KPL Grand Finals at Beijing’s Bird’s Nest stadium.
With the MLBB ecosystem adding new regions and planning to host several international events this year, the title is well-positioned to continue its upward trajectory and cement its place as one of the largest esports titles in the world.
