Tekken 8 world champion Arslan ‘Arslan Ash‘ Siddique has announced that he will move to Japan, selecting the country as his new base for professional activities.

The seven-time EVO champion has also formed a strategic partnership with Global Agency Co., Ltd, which looks to support him as he prepares for upcoming competitions in the FGC circuit.

According to the player, the choice of moving to Japan is related to his desire to compete in the best environment possible for his esports career. He explained that Japan was chosen considering the convenience of travelling to international tournaments, his ability to live and train in a safe and stable environment, and access to a high-quality competitive scene.

In the end, it was the presence of a management structure that led the player to choose Japan: “Having the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and dependable agent was the most important reason behind my decision to make Japan my new base,” he explained.

His legacy and popularity in the FGC scene have become so recognised that Red Bull also released a documentary about his journey, titled ‘The Story of Arslan Ash, King of Tekken.

Currently representing Twisted Minds and Red Bull Esports, the 30-year-old has recently taken part in the Tekken World Tour 2025, finishing just outside of the top eight, after being eliminated by compatriot Usama Abbasi.

The player added: “While I will continue travelling between Pakistan and Japan, this decision allows me to fully focus on my growth as a player and to compete at the highest level in an environment that supports both my professional and personal development.”
