GiantX heads to Grand Final of VCT Game Changers EMEA
London-based esports organisation, GiantX, has reached the Grand Final of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Game Changers EMEA Stage 2.
The team defeated SK Nebula in the Lower Bracket Final in a close 2-1 series.
In the Grand Final, they will face Karmine Corp GC once again for the title today at 4pm BST.

Valorant EMEA Ascension and Game Changers Stage 3 finals locations revealed
Riot Games EMEA has announced the LAN finals locations of Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Ascension EMEA and VCT Game Changers EMEA Stage 3.
VCT Ascension EMEA will head to Berlin, while VCT Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 will return to Istanbul, Türkiye.
They have also released further information about the format, schedule, and more.

VCT Ascension EMEA returns to the Riot Games Arena in Berlin this October, featuring a revamped format and full LAN play.
The region’s top Tier 2 teams will compete at VCT Ascension EMEA for the top prize and place in VCT EMEA.

Gen.G reveals cultural gaming venue GGX in Seoul
Esports organisation Gen.G are opening a huge “lifestyle-focused” gaming venue, Gen.G Gaming Xperience (GGX), for the public in Seoul, Korea.
Other LCK organisations have previously opened PC bangs in the South Korean capital, including T1, FEARX, and Nongshim RedForce.
However, Gen.G claim GGX is “beyond a traditional PC cafe” and redefines the concept by blending high-performance gaming zones with cultural and lifestyle experiences.

Riot Games has unveiled a new HUD which will appear on screen during League of Legends’ Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).
The publishers heavily experimented with a new HUD for the First Stand international tournament, and viewers were not happy.
Riot now says it has taken on fan and commentator feedback from that event to create the new MSI display.

Fortnite Expeditions launches as new LEGO PvE co-op
Adding to the expansive Fortnite universe, Epic Games has released a new PvE (player vs. environment) game mode named LEGO Fortnite Expeditions.
The game mode ties in with the main Battle Royale game’s Supernova Academy theme.
What is LEGO Fortnite Expeditions?
Epic Games launched the original LEGO Fortnite survival sandbox game in December 2023. The genre has since expanded to include several game modes. Most recently, Epic Games has added LEGO Fortnite Expeditions into the mix.

Reports of Fog Esports roster threatened to forfeit EMEA Masters after going unpaid for months
Saudi esports organisation Fog Esports recently competed at EMEA Masters amongst many other teams from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
However, reports from Sheep Esports have revealed that the team were threatening to forfeit the tournament due to going unpaid for months.
The roster of Fog Esports has attempted to resolve overdue payments for months without much progress.

Fog Esports is a Saudi Arabian esports organisation that competed in the Arabian League to qualify for EMEA Masters.
New Pokémon Pocket expansion introduces Eevee EX with release date confirmed
Pokémon TCG Pocket is getting yet another mini-expansion called Eevee Grove.
As you may have guessed, the expansion will centre around popular Pokémon Eevee and all the “Eeveelutions” it evolves into.
This is very similar to the recent Prismatics Evolutions expansion for the physical Pokémon TCG.
The Eevee Grove expansion will release on the mobile game on Thursday, June 26, at 7 am BST.
This should launch alongside the Pokémon Pocket update that could save ranked mode with win-streak bonuses added to Ultra Ball and Master Ball.
