The two teams met earlier in the Group Stages with Barça dominating the series 2-0.

UK’s Grant Rousseau, Global Director of Esports and Operations for Team Falcons, to step down after EWC 2025

Grant Rousseau, Global Director of Esports and Operations for Team Falcons, has announced his intention to step down from Team Falcons after the conclusion of EWC 2025. It brings to an end a three-year stint at the organisation, in which he has overseen expansion into several esports.

In his statement, he outlined his decision to leave the organisation, stating, “In what’s been one of the hardest decisions of my life, I’ve decided that it is time for me to move on from this incredible organisation and start on a new path later this year.”

In his role at Falcons, Grant Rousseau drove Team Falcon’s strategic planning in entering a vast number of esports, including Valorant, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG, and DotA2, as well as contributing to the already established Falcons Counter-Strike roster, which has seen its ambitions heightened in the past few years.

Riot Games has finally announced the League of Legends Game Changers (LGC) as the official EMEA women’s League of Legends competition, after reports first came in 2022.

The Grand Final of the inaugural LGC Rising will take place at Paris Games Week in October, as the first step in building a competitive ecosystem for women across the region.

While not the first women-only tournament for League of Legends, this is the first time Riot Games has organised such a tournament.

EA FC 26 might see Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena return

One of the most iconic football stadiums in the world might be returning in the next EA Sports FC game.

The EA FC franchise hasn’t featured Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena since FIFA 19 because Konami secured the license for eFootball (previously PES).

However, an official statement from Konami has revealed Bayern Munich’s licenses are being removed from eFootball 2025.
