Caedrel finally has Los Ratone’s EMEA Masters trophy

British Twitch streamer, Marc “Caedrel” Lamont, has finally received the EMEA Masters Winter 2025 trophy that his Los Ratones team earned earlier this year, making them the first UK-registered organisation to win the League of Legends tournament.

He took to his stream to show off the prestigious trophy after he helped coach the team to victories against the strongest LoL teams from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in the region’s second tier of competition.

Following on from Season 1’s focus on Noxus, Riot have opted for something much lighter with a new Spirit Blossom theme including a beautiful new visual update to Summoner’s Rift with colours much more calming than the previous red hue. Even the death screen is changing colour to be slightly less aggressive.

Big changes are coming to Valorant. The Riot Games title will celebrate its five-year anniversary in June and the publishers want to celebrate by giving the community some of their most requested features.

The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has unveiled ‘Music of EWC,’ a project to create a signature sound for the 2025 Esports World Cup.

It comes as the world’s largest esports and gaming festival is set to return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between July 7 and August 24.

The initiative launched on April 27 with a recording session at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios. It featured original compositions by renowned music collectives 2WEI and Hollywood Scoring.
