League of Legends World Champion and Fnatic icon Shushei dies age 36

The family of pioneering League of Legends midlaner Maciej “Shushei” Ratuszniak have confirmed that he has lost his battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 36 on April 28, 2025.

The Polish pro retired back in 2013 but had already recorded a legendary career.

Shushei was a major part of the Fnatic roster that won the first-ever LoL World Championship back in 2011, playing alongside Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martínez, Lauri “Cyanide” Happonen, Manuel “LaMiaZeaLoT” Mildenberger, Peter “Mellisan” Meisrimel and emergency sub Bram “wewillfailer” de Winter who helped out in the early stages of the tournament when xPeke missed his flight.

Blizzard reportedly working on ‘Overwatch 3’ and new StarCraft title

According to reports from Korean news site MTN, Blizzard are working with a new partner on upcoming games for both their Overwatch and StarCraft IPs.

Allegedly, the publishing giants hosting a bidding war in South Korea with multiple major Korean game companies including Guild Wars 2 makers NCSoft and Arena of Valor publishers Netmarble. However, news has now emerged that Blizzard have decided to team up with Nexon who are best known for first-person shooter The Finals and currently hold the publishing rights to the MapleStory franchise.

Collabstr completed the survey, with the annual report taking a closer look at 100,000 creators and 40,000 advertisers.

Team Liquid sign jungler Yuuji to compete with UmTi

Team Liquid are adding a sixth man to their League of Legends roster in the LTA after signing Ganbat “Yuuji” Ulziidelger to compete for the starting jungle role, according to reports by Sheep Esports.

The 22-year-old Mongolian is a well-known talent in the North American Challengers League (NACL), where he is a reigning champion and the only player in the division’s history to secure back-to-back MVP awards. The last three NACL pros who claimed the MVP award, FlyQuest bot lane duo Alan “Busio” Cwalina and Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek as well as Niship “Dhokla” Doshi from Yilliang “Doubleflift” Peng’s Near Airport, have all gone on to record top eight finishes at LoL World Championships.
