The rats are 3-3 in the Swiss bracket after back-to-back defeats in their promotion contests, where a win would have seen them progress.

Instead, Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont’s men now face a do-or-die contest to save their attempt at walking the ERL ‘Golden Road.’

Vici Gaming have announced its re-entry to the DotA 2 esports scene after a long absence. The organisation has a strong history in DotA,

After a period of dwindling performances, Vici Gaming left DotA in 2023, but are set to re-enter for the 2026 season, with a few familiar faces from years gone by.

In the announcement statement on Weibo, the organisation stated, “VG Esports Club would like to extend our best wishes to all the partners who have supported us for a long time and officially announce that after two years of precipitation, VG flag, set sail again for the dream!” (translated)

The move comes ahead of The International 2026, set to be held in Shanghai.

French streamer and co-founder of esports org Gentle Mates, Lucas ‘Squeezie’ Hauchard, has held GP Explorer 3 at Le Mans circuit, October 3-5.

The three-day event featured musicians, famous race-car drivers and content creators from across the world.

Numbers reflect huge engagement with French content creators

Approximately 200,000 tickets were sold for the event across the three days, with ~80,000 attending the Sunday climax.

The event was also a streaming success, garnering 1,366,992 peak viewers according to streaming viewership aggregator StreamCharts.

Members of the Valorant community have come together on social media to celebrate Britain’s Jake ‘Boaster’ Howlett after an agonising 2-3 Grand Final loss saw NRG down Fnatic at Valorant Champions 2025.

A historic comeback saw Fnatic fight back from 11-1 down on map three to go on to force a fifth and final map, but NRG showed their mental resilience to take the fifth map and become VCT Paris winners.

Boaster, a player who always wears his heart on his sleeve, was visibly emotional after the loss, but the Valorant community have celebrated that vulnerability and the meaning it gives to the scene and its competitions.
