NRG become VCT Paris winners, proving the future of Valorant is bright

In a dominating display of raw talent, NRG swept the trophy away from Fnatic to deny a historic comeback and become VCT Paris winners 3-2. 

While NRG’s win marks a return to the top for leader Ethan, the team’s victory is made more impressive by the progress from Adam ‘mada’ Pampuch, Brock ‘brawk’ Somerhalder, and Logan ‘skuba’ Jenkins. All three rose from Challengers in 2024 to VCT Champions in 2025.

Another League of Legends champion coming to Riot Games’ fighter 2XKO has accidentally been leaked.

Earlier this year, Blitzcrank was leaked as a playable character when his art accidentally appeared on Riot’s support page.

Then a datamine of the upcoming season pass revealed Teemo as the 10th champion in 2XKO.

Kameto claims LEC teams didn’t agree to Los Ratones joining

League of Legends Worlds 2025 hasn’t even started yet there is already huge drama in the LEC ahead of the 2026 season.

It was previously reported that Riot Games is expanding the LEC Winter Split 2026 to include Los Ratones.

Most assumed that the 10 LEC teams, all paid partners, had agreed to this to help boost viewership thanks to Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont’s popularity.

However, Karmine Corp owner Kamel ‘Kameto’ Kebir has broken his NDA with Riot to claim that it’s actually the opposite.

ESL Impact CS2 women’s circuit indefinitely suspended

ESL has announced that the Counter-Strike 2 women’s circuit, ESL Impact, will be suspended following Season 8.

The ESL FACEIT Group released a statement saying it had “made the incredibly difficult decision.” 

While the tournament organisers say that ESL Impact succeeded in raising the profile of women’s CS, they also claim:

“The current economic model is simply not sustainable.”

The ESL Impact League was started back in 2022 and has handed out around $1.2m (£891k) in prize money in total.

Team RA’AD kicked out of VCT Ascension EMEA 2025

Riot Games has announced that VCL Mena Stage 2 champions Team RA’AD have been kicked out of Valorant Ascension EMEA.

Following APEKs and Gentle Mates’ relegations, this year’s tournament will see two teams promoted into VCT EMEA for 2026.

However, Egyptian organisation Team RA’AD have been kicked by Riot as they were ‘unable to comply with team ownership policies.’

As a result, Joblife have taken their place in the tournament as the team with the next-highest Ascension points.

Valorant finally comes to the UK for Valorant Masters London 2026

Riot Games are finally bringing a major Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) event to the UK next year.

It has been confirmed that London will host the second VCT Masters tournament in 2026, the last before Valorant Champions 2026 in Shanghai.

The international event will welcome the top seeds from each region around the world to the English capital in June 2026.

However, no venue or official dates have been confirmed as of yet.

The League of Legends World Championship is almost upon us, and LoL Esports has revealed the full roster of Worlds 2025 broadcast talent. 

Included in the cast list are British-Irish caster Dan ‘Aux’ Harrison, Irish caster Robert ‘Dagda’ Price, and British casters Aaron ‘Medic’ Chamberlain and Andrew ‘Vedius’ Day. 

Every League of Legends Worlds broadcast talent revealed 

The UK’s best talent is included in the English League of Legends Worlds broadcast team for 2025.
