Counter-Strike analyst targeted with obscene flyers; Multiple instances of anti-social behaviour at IEM Cologne 2025

Counter-Strike broadcast talent Jacob ‘Pimp’ Winneche has taken to social media to respond to offensive flyers circulated at IEM Cologne, which appear to show the Dane with a homophobic slur attached to it. The incident is one of several anti-social incidents at IEM Cologne 2025.

The former Liquid player took to social media to share his discomfort with the flyers, which his family were also exposed to, stating, “Having to explain how come some people would print and write something like this, to my girlfriend and my father in law was not nice,” adding, “This crossed a line for me, and I hope that’s the last time I have to explain to someone in my life, what ugly sides also tag along.”

Justinas ‘jL’ Lekavicius made a brief return to Counter-Strike, standing in for Owen ‘smooya’ Butterfield’s fish123 roster in a 2-1 defeat to academy roster, G2 Ares, in the final of online tournament United21 League Season 35.

Even though fish123 had a major quarter-finalist in smooya, and a Major-winning MVP in jL, the roster was defeated 5-13, 13-7, 5-13, meaning fish123 finished 2nd overall.

Why was jL playing for fish123?

The roster includes EPIC 45 champion, smooya, IESF EEC Champion, Matas ‘MAGILA’ Magila, former ENCE player Juho ‘juho’ Lampinen, and former Nexus young gun Radut ‘7kick’ Dragos Cristian.
