Valorant Champions 2026 announced for Shanghai

Riot Games has announced that the biggest Valorant event of the year, Valorant Champions, will take place in Shanghai, China.

The city is home to VCT China and has previously hosted an international event with Masters Shanghai 2024.

That tournament was held in the Mercedes-Benz Arena, but the venue and dates for 2026 have not yet been confirmed.

Pokémon TCG Pocket devs ask people to stop harassing artist

The Pokémon TCG Pocket developers have had to release a statement asking people to stop harassing one of their artists.

This comes after stolen artwork was removed from Pokémon TCG Pocket for the immersive Ho-Oh EX and Lugia EX cards.

It was explained that the stolen fan art of Chinese artist @lanjiujiu had accidentally been given as a stencil.

Despite this, the digital card’s artist, Sie Nanahara, has still received harassment and abuse online.

ApparentlyJack blasts Rocket League devs for DDoS issues ahead of EWC and RLCS

English Rocket League pro Jack ‘ApparentlyJack’ Benton has publicly expressed his frustrations with Epic Games.

The Dignitas player has blasted the developers for not fixing the issues with DDoS attackers that have plagued the game for years.

A denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is “a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server, service, or network.”

This has been ruining online matches of Rocket League for well over a year, stopping esports pros from getting practice.

League of Legends TCG Riftbound will release on Halloween

Riot Games has confirmed that its new League of Legends card game, Riftbound, will release in English on October 31st.

Riftbound is a physical trading card game (TCG) like Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Disney Lorcana.

It is the second LoL-themed card game following on from the digital TCG, Legends of Runeterra.

EA FC 26 confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 but with missing features

For the first time in years, Nintendo fans were hopeful of a good football game with EA FC 26.

EA Sports has confirmed that the latest iteration of its football simulator series is coming to Nintendo Switch 2.

It was one of three sports games confirmed for Switch 2 at the latest Nintendo Direct, alongside Madden NFL 26 and NBA Bounce.

However, the reveal trailer featured a small disclaimer for the EA FC 26 trailer, which read:

“Certain features and content will not be available on Nintendo Switch.”

It has not yet been confirmed what exactly these missing features are.
