MOUZ has been crowned the champion team of PGL Wallachia Season 6 after defeating Team Spirit 3-2 in the Grand Final.
The squad competed in the Dota 2 tournament from November 15th to 23rd, 2025, and secured the lion’s share of its $1m (~£763,700) prize pool.
MOUZ was one of 16 teams competing in Bucharest, Romania, qualifying through the Western Europe Closed Qualifier. The tournament featured well-known organisations and competitive powerhouses, including Season 4 winners Team Liquid and Season 5 champions BetBoom Team.
The roster began its run with an explosive start in the Group Stage, securing wins against NAVI, Xtreme Gaming and Roar Gaming. However, MOUZ would suffer its first loss to Team Spirit, which had established itself as the favourite to win the tournament.
MOUZ was among the eight squads to survive to the playoffs. Its run included a rough start after losing to PARAVISION 2-1 in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. However, MOUZ would ultimately claw its way through the Lower Brackets to reach the grand Finals, toppling HEROIC, OG Esports, BetBoom Team and Team Liquid along the way.
What Happened In the Grand Finals?
The Grand Finals saw the two rosters compete to be crowned this season’s champion. Following its previous defeat in the Group Stage, MOUZ entered the showdown looking for revenge.
Team Spirit drew first blood after winning the first map, but MOUZ bounced back after winning the next two maps. Team Spirit levelled the score after winning map four, but MOUZ prevailed in the end after claiming the final map.
Two players, in particular, stood out during the series. Team Spirit’s Illya ‘Yatoro‘ Mulyarchuk secured 53.7k damage as Drow Ranger on the first map and MOUZ’s Miroslav ‘BOOM‘ Bičan landed 12 eliminations on the fifth map as Timbersaw.
PGL Wallachia Season 7 will return to Bucharest from March 5th to 15th, 2025, where 16 teams will once again compete for a $1m prize pool.
