Meanwhile, Group B is set to finish in fireworks to determine the teams heading to the Playoffs.

British stars on Supernova Comets and Solary Academy will face off to secure their place and put the other at risk of elimination.

Wimbledon Semi-finalist Taylor Fritz is in the top 12% of LoL players

One of the world’s best tennis players, Taylor Fritz, has confirmed he has an impressive rank in League of Legends.

The American is ranked number five in men’s tennis and recently qualified for this year’s Wimbledon Semi-final.

There, he will face off against the winner of British star Cameron Norrie versus the reigning Wimbledon champion, Carlos Alcaraz.

Now, Fritz has confirmed in an Instagram comment that he is also Emerald 3 in LoL, putting him above well over 80% of the game’s player base.

The extra team slot is a result of the efforts of T1 and GenG victories at this year’s Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).

CFO LoL MSI heroics feed fried chicken to over 2,000 fans

CTC Flying Oyster had an incredible run at LoL MSI, and their performances have helped feed thousands of people.

The League of Legends Taiwan Facebook page agreed to give away fried chicken cutlets to fans depending on CFO’s performance.

The account agreed to hand out 10 cutlets for every kill and 100 cutlets for every game win CFO racked up at MSI.

Riot Games probably didn’t expect CFO to have a historic performance and now have to shell out for 2,430 pieces of chicken.

Is LoL MSI 2025 a new low for LEC teams?

MSI is still ongoing, but it’s already official: Europe’s LEC is the weakest League of Legends region in the world.

EMEA’s representatives, Movistar KOI and G2 Esports, failed to win a single series during the Main Stage. Even before that, G2 desperately struggled in the Play-Ins and barely squeaked by 3-2 against FURIA and GAM Esports.

A disappointing 3-1 loss to Taiwanese team CBTC Flying Oyster eliminated MKOI, while G2 crashed out after an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of North American rivals FlyQuest.
