Devastating result sees Virtus.pro miss first Marvel Rivals LAN

Virtus.pro, the team that has dominated Marvel Rivals esports events in Europe, has missed out on the Ignite Mid-Season Finals.

Stage 1 of Marvel Rivals Ignite, the game’s first major esports season with a $3 million (£2.2m), has now concluded in most regions.

In the EMEA Playoffs, VP were defeated 3-2 by Brr Brr Patapim twice and shockingly denied Mid-Season Finals qualification.

Well, that’s definitely not what we wanted.

CDL Championship Weekend 2025 – OpTic Texas complete fairytale run / Mercules MVP

OpTic Texas defeated Vancouver Surge 5-3 in the Grand Final of CDL Champs 2025 to claim historic back-to-back World Championships after a tumultuous year. The American team seemed a million miles away from their former glories in parts of 2025, yet they lifted the Champs trophy all the same.

In March, OpTic Texas went 0-18 in maps at the qualification tournament for Major II. The team, built to dominate, were a disaster. The world seemed to be caving in on the CDL League 2024 Champions.

Team BDS announce new leadership, name change, and non-profit initiative

Team BDS have announced that the organisation is ‘entering a new era’ with new leadership and an upcoming rebrand.

BDS’ head of strategy, Alexandre Lopez, has been promoted to acting CEO of the Swiss esports organisation.

The organisation will undergo a total rebrand in the upcoming months that “better aligns with its current spirit and future ambitions.”

The news comes a little over seven months after the departure of former CEO and Team BDS’ namesake, Patrice Bailo De Spoelberch.

Supervive is leaving Early Eccess with full release in July and new character Wukong

Supervive is leaving Early Access as Theorycraft Games has announced its full, global launch will take place on July 24th.

The game, originally called Project Loki, first became playable on Steam back in November 2024.

The game is a MOBA and a squad-based battle royale, which has racked up over 17,000 Steam reviews and a 90% positivity rating.

Now, the MOBA title is leaving beta testing with the release of the Supervive 1.0 update.

G2 Esports qualify for MSI Bracket Stage but at what cost?

G2 Esports barely survived elimination from the League of Legends MSI Play-Ins, defeating GAM Esports 3-2 in their Qualification Match.

The LEC team struggled in games in which they were heavily favoured, as is tradition for European orgs in Play-Ins.

After taking all five games to defeat Brazil’s FURIA, G2 lived dangerously again as they struggled to close out the GAM series too.

Following the awkward performance against FURIA and losing 3-0 to Bilibili Gaming (BLG), many thought G2’s confidence would be shot.

VCT EMEA Stage 2 kicks off on July 16th on the road to Champions Paris

Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) EMEA is set to return with Stage 2 on Wednesday, July 16th.

The top teams from Europe will battle it out for the top prize and earn their place at the biggest tournament of the year, Valorant Champions (Champs) Paris.

With Champs being on home soil this year, teams will be eager to qualify for the tournament while they have the home advantage.

VCT EMEA Stage 2 Format

Stage 2 will follow the same format as Stage 1, but now every result is more important than ever.
