Stop Killing Games petition to be debated in UK parliament

The British government has officially set a date to debate the popular Stop Killing Games (SKG) petition.

Started in April 2024, the SGK petition is leading a consumer movement which stops old video games from being taken offline.

This was started by YouTuber Ross ‘Accursed Farms’ Scott after Ubisoft took The Crew offline and revoked licenses from those who had bought the game.

The petition garnered a lot of interest with the European Union version securing just under 1.5 million signatures, 97% of which were judged to be legitimate.

G.E.M. announced for official LoL Worlds 2025 song

Riot Games has announced that the official song for the League of Legends World Championship 2025 will star G.E.M.

G.E.M. is a massive pop star in China; her song ‘Light Years Away’ still holds the Guinness World Record for most views on a Chinese music video with over 240 billion.

Her song for Worlds has been created alongside Italian electronic music artist Anyma, which will be released on October 10th.

The song has already been teased at a G.E.M concert, which appears to be called ‘The Kingdom Comes’ judging by the revealed lyrics.

Team Vitality partner with Paris Saint-Germain for EA FC 26 esports

French esports organisation Team Vitality are collaborating with 2025 Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in a multi-year partnership.

The partnership is focused on the next two EA FC Pro seasons, starting just in time for EA FC 26.

PSG.Vitality will be represented by Vitality’s two remaining FC pros, Ilian Bouchi and Brice Masson.

Team Falcons Academy CS2 roster sparks controversy in Conflict of Interest allegations

The newly announced Team Falcons Academy CS2 roster, “Falcons Force,” has come under fire after a potential conflict of interest. 

After tryouts for 70 players, it has been revealed that four of the five chosen roster members are signed to the agency part-owned by Falcons Academy CS2 coach, Niels Christian ‘NaToSaphiX’ Sillassen.

Potential conflict of interest raised after roster announcement

Initial reports by Freelance Investigative Writer Heine ‘puffin’ Winthereig explained that the Team Falcons Academy CS2 roster reveal may not be as transparent as fans would prefer. 

In fact, despite having a pool of 70 potential roster candidates to choose from, four of the five final roster members are represented by NEEVE.PRO.

DreamHack 2026 and ESL One are heading to the United Kingdom with an event in Birmingham in March 2026.

The three-day festival will take place in The NEC Arena, while ESL One will be held at bp pulse LIVE.

In its 20-year history, this will be the first time a DreamHack festival has taken place in the UK.

Meanwhile, this will be the fourth iteration of the ESL One Birmingham esports event.
