2XKO beta will feature accidentally leaked champion Blitzcrank

Riot Games has accidentally leaked that Blitzcrank will be the next champion in 2XKO.

Eagled-eye fans noticed the giant steam golem appeared on the 2XKO cover on Riot’s support page.

Now, it has been confirmed that he is indeed coming to the League of Legends-based fighter as the game’s ninth champion.

Also, Riot has revealed that Blitzcrank will be playable in the upcoming closed beta.

Blitzcrank was supposed to be unveiled next week.

North American esports organisation Sentinels have announced their first-ever anime collaboration.

Thanks to a partnership with anime streaming service Crunchyroll, Sentinels have released merch based on the volleyball anime Haikyuu!!

Volleyball may seem like a strange focus for a show, but Haikyuu!! may in fact be more popular than the sport itself.

Its first movie, Haikyuu The Dumpster Battle, has grossed over $125m (£92m) in cinemas worldwide.

Riot Games has shared the schedule for the Valorant Act 5 Premier event, running from August 27th to October 12th this year.

The in-game tournament allows players of all skill levels to compete in a format that serves as an open qualifier for the Valorant Challengers circuit.

It will span seven weeks, each featuring a different map, with Playoffs on the final day.

The tournament includes updates from Act 5, such as replacing icebox with Abyss in the competitive map pool and agent balance changes from patch 11.04.
