WASD controls are coming to League; Community loses its minds

League of Legends has shared a dev update outlining its plans to bring WASD controls to the game, in what has been called “the biggest change in the game’s history” by members of the community. LoL will be adding WASD “in the next few patches.”

Riot outlined their reasoning in the dev video, as well as the implementation and the intentions behind the change, stating that the intention is to capture new players who are not used to League’s idiosyncratic control scheme.

Where does tN1R’s exit leave Heroic?

Heroic have announced that EWC 2025 will be Andrey ‘tN1R’ Tatarinovich’s last appearance with the organisation due to an unknown organisation triggering his buyout clause.

According to the self-titled “CIS influencer,” harumi, tN1R will be heading to Team Spirit with Major-winning anchor, Myroslav ‘zont1x’ Plakhotia, losing his spot in the lineup. If so, Spirit will have to make adjustments to their roles, with tN1R typically taking more active positions.

tN1R will be tasked with bringing more firepower to the Spirit roster, who have traditionally lived or died based on the performances of their rifling prodigy Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets.

NA scene shares mixed reactions to EU invasion of Fragadelphia

Fragadelphia’s October LAN, Frag x BLOCK2, has sold out in a matter of minutes, with several prominent orgs snapping up tickets to the Philadelphia LAN, many of whom are EU teams.

In the VRS system, all LANs benefit from a modifier called “LAN factor.” This metric makes LAN wins hugely valuable to the ranking system, resulting in EPIC.LAN 45 attracting FUT, Iberian Soul, The Last Resort and others, and Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXPO 2025 attracting eventual winners NiP.

Nongshim RedForce clutch Group Stage success

They may not have finished at the top of their group, but third place was enough to secure them a spot in the VCT Pacific Playoffs.

Jumping into Early Access on August 7, I had a hard shell of scepticism surrounding my expectations.
